Vans brand photo gallery

This photo gallery promotes Vans products, specifically its shoes and shirts in a way where Urban environments are present. This is likely where the brand is most commonly used especially when paired with BMX riding.

Data visualization - Action sports interest in GH

This chart illustrates the interest of action sports that are generally associated with the Vans brand. As the results show, snow sports such as snowboarding and Skiing are the most interested sports with skateboarding and BMX falling in the middle of interest. This was useful information to compile as my original assumption would be that Skateboarding and Biking would lead in popularity.

Land Acknowledgement

The University of Guelph-Humber and Humber College are located within the traditional and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit. Known as Adoobiigok, the “Place of the Black Alders” in the Mississauga language, the region is uniquely situated along Humber River Watershed, which historically provided an integral connection for Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples between the Ontario Lakeshore and the Lake Simcoe/Georgian Bay regions. Now home to people of numerous nations, Adoobiigok continues to provide a vital source of interconnection for all. We acknowledge and honour the land we are walking on, the moccasin tracks of our ancestors and the footprints of the future generations to come.
