Throughout this semester I have learned various different skillsets which have been enjoyable yet  challenging at the same time to learn, but viable for my future in wanting to be more experienced in media. One skill set I will remember and use the most are the features on a camera. ISO, shutter speed, and aperture now all have meaning and value to me when I am using my camera. Something I didn’t know was that it was one of the first things I learned in this course and will be something I will always remember for future. This relates with one of my proudest assignments being my photography. My elf campaign telling the story of “breakfast of champions” showcasing food and beauty photography, was challenging but once i came up with the ideas and proper technique with the camera and lighting it was a successful and majority of my images matched my vision. This project made me realize I am very creative and interested in the marketing side of media, and is definitely a branch I am now interested in. For my audio assignment however, although I was not familiar with editing audio, the concept behind my project motivates me more for my future career path. The clip describing how my dad made me into a sports fan was very special to me and was very nostalgic to go back and add clips from sporting events into the audio clip. Overall the end product made me want to work in sports even more as it motivated me even more to create content for a sports team. On the editing side, it was very useful for me to start learning lightroom and premier pro. Being familiar with photoshop, I am glad I was able to explore other Adobe apps. It was definitely the tutorial I needed in order for future use, and I hope to figure out more about the two platforms. Overall this semester really motivated me to continue in the media and introduced me to many elements I never knew of before!
