Anthony Cirillo's Media Production Toolkit Portfolio

Photo Assignment: In this project, I took a series of photos to tell a narrative. Through photographic storytelling, we follow the journey of a leaf through a neighbourhood. It’s meant to act as a story of how life, much like the wind that blows a leaf, can take us anywhere.

Audio Assignment: Here, I created a compelling, roughly minute long audio story about a baseball player coming up with a clutch home run that ignited the entire team, city and country. It was partially inspired by the Toronto Blue Jays 2025 postseason run, and George Springer’s ALCS home run.

Video and Social Edit Assignment: I produced a compelling video where I take everything I’ve learned in the course to make a video on a topic of my choice. In mine, I do a travel vlog on Market Lane, a community in Canada rooted in Italian heritage. I also created a social media edit that can be viewed in a 9×16 format with subtitles and rearranged clips.

Land Acknowledgement

The University of Guelph-Humber and Humber College are located within the traditional and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit. Known as Adoobiigok, the “Place of the Black Alders” in the Mississauga language, the region is uniquely situated along Humber River Watershed, which historically provided an integral connection for Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples between the Ontario Lakeshore and the Lake Simcoe/Georgian Bay regions. Now home to people of numerous nations, Adoobiigok continues to provide a vital source of interconnection for all. We acknowledge and honour the land we are walking on, the moccasin tracks of our ancestors and the footprints of the future generations to come.
