Today’s Blog is about Effective Content & Setting Clear Goals
Whether you are making content for a small business or blog, it is important to appeal to a desired audience through the content that is posted on various social channels. Setting clear and attainable goals is also important to keep all of the content on track and to make sure consumers stay engaged with the content, as well as keeping business afloat.
Setting business goals is different to setting blog goals, and the content that is being put forward will be much different from each other. A businesses desire is to reach that target audience and be the best business in that market through appropriate marketing funnel strategies. It all starts with acquiring the customer and trying to persuade them and show off how you’re product/service is better than others out there.
Effective content for my blog post for example, to acquire my specific target audience to my blogs, is a set schedule of social media postings highlighting what my viewers want to read about and all of the sports topics that they need to know. Specifically highlighting the first couple games of the NHL season, or a potential analysis of their favourite teams. When ideas are clearly laid out and the strategies to producing this effective content are laid out there will definitely be nearly any struggle to attracting a desired audience to viewing the blog.

Guest speaker Ron Abraham, really sent the message of producing clear and identifiable goals to help not only a business to succeed, but a blog as well. He showcased that there is never one goal in particular, but a series of goals to help produce that main ultimate goal that a business or blog is trying to achieve. It is best to start from the top goal, down, rather than working to achieve from bottom to top. This way the ultimate goal is accomplished first, before the other goals. Most importantly, people must be able to resonate strongly with the content that is being created, to establish that proper connection with your audience and to keep them coming back for more each week.
