Welcome back to my crazy life! This weekend kicks off my reading week and Thanksgiving! I finally get a whole week to myself, and I’m officially done with my midterm exams! I was thinking about what to do during this reading week, and then it struck me—my love for music! I’m diving into creating an EP, and honestly, I’m feeling both excited and a bit nervous. But I know it’s going to be a fun! I’m not sure if this EP will take off, but I’d love to share some tips on how to showcase your music or any project in mind. Who knows, maybe someone reading this will want to promote their work in the future!
These days, music is my focus, and I’m all about creating the best music I can. Creating a hit isn’t as simple as one step, so let me break down the processes to help you with your content. I like to kick off any project with a clear objective or goal in mind. I often think about what I want to achieve and how I can make it happen. It’s really important to “Know your outcome.” Finding the best techniques is key to reaching success. I’m getting ready to drop some music, and I’m really hoping to connect with a particular audience and hit a certain view count. You really need to have the right skills, but it’s also super important to understand your audience well. Ron Abraham brought up a great point in his interview, and I agree that getting a grasp on audience behaviour is super important. He starts with the technical and psychological aspects of his audience.
I recognize what my audience enjoys, so I will customize my content to match their preferences. It’s important to follow a clear plan, beginning with my primary goals, which focus on the audience I’m trying to reach. After I finish my music and share it, self-promotion is key; crafting captivating content is vital. Robb Robnis emphasizes in the article that “Content will always be king”. Begin crafting teaser clips or a preview of your song in a fun and relatable way that your audience can relate to, this would help boost your engagement and bring in more listeners. I hope this helps you with any project or content you want to create, but just remember to have fun with it!
