Continuously learn and express yourself
Zain used to work as a video editor and is a marketing event and brand expert. He recommends that everyone should fully demonstrate their strengths during the interview. Only in this way can they get more opportunities. To this end, he suggested that everyone should continue learning new skills and software to improve themselves.
I very much agree with the “six key pillars” proposed by Zain: highlighting the office, work etiquette, managing brand, work personality, self-promotion, and finding a role that suits you to perform in the workplace. His discussion on the career development of interns inspired me a lot and resonated with me. Zain said interns can choose their way and show their talents to the fullest. The several ways he proposed to express himself are convenient and practical. Also, interns should have sufficient understanding and requirements for themselves. They gain better self-recognition only by learning new skills and software and making themselves better. Only by making ourselves better and becoming more robust can we not be bound by society and gain the right to choose our way of working.
I’m afraid I still have to disagree with Zain’s point of view. He said that interns should fully demonstrate their talents. Through my own internship experience and the experience of my parents, I believe that, on the one hand, interns must show their abilities. On the other hand, they must pay attention to office politics. Showing yourself to the fullest is often too high-profile, which may attract pressure from older employees.
By learning Zain’s point of view, I will strengthen my professional skills in the future by learning from two aspects. First, according to what Zain said, I will improve my learning and develop my advantages in the face of the employer’s three pillars of “reputation, consistency and professionalism.” Shape your own workplace role and brand image; the second is to learn to use YouTube to make videos, constantly display your brand image, let future employers understand you, and create a better career future for yourself.
