Believe in yourself, and you will always get what you want.

How do you apply for the position you want? I learnt a lot from Amrita Singh’s speech. The most profound lesson is to believe in yourself and always get what you want.
How can students prepare themselves for a career? Five practical tips from Amrita Singh:
1. Create a CV that appeals to employers. A good CV attracts more companies and gives us better opportunities. A good CV must highlight those things that prove you are better or different than others and be targeted to add relevant careers that you have. Your skills, education and experience will make you remembered by employers.
2. Learn to present yourself with confidence. Communication skills are essential, and most importantly, confidence. Please be sure to know what you’re presenting and be confident.
3. Acquire more skills. While studying at school, you should discover and develop your interests into your professional skills. It would be best to show the interviewer these professional skills during the interview.
4. Develop your network. Joining LinkedIn is the best way to make and develop online connections. We can proactively send quick notes on Linkedin to connect and develop relationships with companies and people we like.
5. Trust the entire job search process. Believe in yourself; if you keep improving and looking for positions, you can get the desired position.
Amrita Singh’s presentation taught me more about entering the labour market and getting a better salary. Based on Amrita Singh’s advice, I will improve my professional skills in 3 areas. Quality.
1. create my CV. Use generic skills that Amrita Singh mentioned, e.g. Microsoft and Adobe. Ensure your LinkedIn profile is complete and up-to-date with a professional headshot, clear summary and relevant information about your work experience and skills. Share blog posts on LinkedIn to showcase yourself. Competencies.
2. Develop your professional skills. Hard skills focus on furthering your writing skills and using media analysis software, and soft skills concentrate on fostering your communication and negotiation skills.
3. expand your professional network. I want to attend as many career-related social events as possible, such as conferences, gatherings and social groups. I can also expand my network by connecting with people in the industry through social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. During my internship, I volunteered for an organization or event in my community to meet new people and expand my network. When you come across a company you want to work for, reach out to email them or connect with them on social media. Be genuine and authentic in your interactions with people, and in the same way, I can reach out to others in my network through social media to offer help and support.
If you keep improving yourself and believing in yourself, you will be able to succeed.
