These series of pictures illustrate how the brand Converse portrays itself on their social media, as well as how the customers of Converse make the brand to be. A lot of the pictures are taken blurry to communicate the dirty aesthetic of Converse.

This video’s story was that 2 people, the person in the red Converse, and the person in the grey Converse, go on a walk. Both take different modes of transportation, one being a skateboard, and the other a bike. At the end of the video, the meet and the end and it is revealed that they know each other.

This video is a 30 second video made from clips of the original video, ideally to be shared on social media. It essentially tells the same story, just in a shorter time. There is also a voice over narrating the video, making it easier to follow along with the story.

Land Acknowledgement

The University of Guelph-Humber and Humber College are located within the traditional and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit. Known as Adoobiigok, the “Place of the Black Alders” in the Mississauga language, the region is uniquely situated along Humber River Watershed, which historically provided an integral connection for Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples between the Ontario Lakeshore and the Lake Simcoe/Georgian Bay regions. Now home to people of numerous nations, Adoobiigok continues to provide a vital source of interconnection for all. We acknowledge and honour the land we are walking on, the moccasin tracks of our ancestors and the footprints of the future generations to come.
