Watch Khalil Overcome trials & tribulations at D1 Basketball Tryouts

This is my audio assignment, a story about how hard one must work to succeed, regardless of whether anyone is watching.

My Final Assignment in the class was a story dedicated to the life of a university student. Specifically a Guelph-Humber one!

My Final Assignment in the class was a story dedicated to the life of a university student. Specifically a Guelph-Humber one! Only this time, it is made in a way for those with shorter attention spans.

This is my commute! I do this to further my education in Media and Communication studies.

THANK YOU, GAITAN! – A short reflection

During my time in the MDST 1300 class I have learned so much. I learned how to properly use a professional camera, how to take photos, record, I learned how to make successful commercials, create my own websites, manage editing softwares and so much more! This class has helped me create and film my own personal projects that aren’t school related. Looking back at the beginning I honestly never used a professional camera before, only an iphone. I believe my photography skills have improved so much, looking at the photos from my portfolio I changed the lighting and exposure then got some of the clearest and sharpest looking photos I’ve seen. I wouldn’t say I had a least favourite part but a frustrating part I found was creating my own website. Creating my own website is something I’ve never actually done before so it was the least I was familiar with. I had fun, I will definitely use this in the future. If I’m being honest everything was very significant to me but if I had to choose one, the professional camera for sure. If I ever think about using a professional camera it will now upgrade any content because I know how to use it properly and it is much better for videoing and photography. The project I am most proud of is the website, it’s something i’ve actually never done before so it was cool when it finally came together. Every skill we were taught in the class individually can get us into all kinds of fields and honestly looks great on a resume. So as I move forward I will showcase all the skills and use it in any field that I may work on to better improve my/their situation. By far this was my favourite class in all my years in this program, not only because it was fun but because I already enjoy this type of work and want to dive deeper into what I can accomplish. Thank you for teaching us I will forever remember all that we learnt.
