Before this, Lansing had already earned a strong reputation in the industry through the establishment of Lansing Manufacturing Company, which manufactured loudspeakers and drivers for movie theatres (Noteworthy Audio, n.d.). Since its founding in 1946, JBL has become a renowned brand in the industry, consistently delivering quality sound for many years.
