This week our guest speaker Andrea Boland, we studied content strategy and consumer behavior in relation to the epidemic. Additionally, we gained additional knowledge regarding content strategy in general. Basic writing and communication skills are critical for content strategy since they are required to convey your vision and collaborate with others. Andrea Boland outlined them as well. I concur that these are crucial abilities as how you communicate and the tone and voice you employ affect how others will interpret you when you write or talk. It is crucial to have this ability not just for teamwork and collaborating with your marketing team, but also for reaching your target audience with relevant material that reflects the essence and core values of your business.

Andrea Boland was a great guest speaker and brought great insight to the class.

Land Acknowledgment

The University of Guelph-Humber and Humber College are located within the traditional and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit. Known as Adoobiigok, the “Place of the Black Alders” in the Mississauga language, the region is uniquely situated along Humber River Watershed, which historically provided an integral connection for Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples between the Ontario Lakeshore and the Lake Simcoe/Georgian Bay regions. Now home to people of numerous nations, Adoobiigok continues to provide a vital source of interconnection for all. We acknowledge and honour the land we are walking on, the moccasin tracks of our ancestors and the footprints of the future generations to come.
