This photo essay is a small glimpse into a day in a life of my dog Lenny. This was challenge as he is very much a moving target but it was still fun to capture moments of him being himself!

Chocolate Lake
This audio assignment was based off of my trip to Nova Scotia in summer of 2025. This script was written while listening to Cannock Chase by Labi Siffre and the ending paragraph is based on the lyrics “I thought my day would never come…Maybe it won’t but I’ll have fun. And I’ll hold tight ‘Cause that way it might”.
The use of the word chocolate in this can be thought of as metaphorical because chocolate is sweet (ie: a sweet memory) but it is also just the actual name of the lake in Halifax! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate_Lake
Video Assignment: Meet Lenny
As you can see….I really like my dog. But maybe he’s not the best model for a video as taking a video of a moving target who also doesn’t speak English is certainly an experience, an experience that I wouldn’t trade for the word. I hope this lets you learn more about Lenny, while also finding some humorous in my editing!
