My photo assignment showcases and embodies Rhode's overall aesthetic and what its brand means. Rhode is one of the most popular skincare brands on the market today and has recently become a strong competitor in the makeup industry as well. Rhode prioritises clean, minimalistic aesthetics, which I showcased effectively throughout this photo assignment, using artistic selections that emphasize Rhode and their products.

Video Assignment

My creation of a Rhode campaign video effectively captures the creative aesthetic that goes along with Rhode and what the brand stands for. This campaign highlights the benefits using Rhode can have on an individual, while also highlighting Rhode's key accomplishments within its brand. I wanted to make this campaign interesting, incorporating a feeling of casualness and realness to the campaign, as Rhode is a brand that people should feel comfortable with using, and supporting. Using a variety of shots and editing, this video brings attention to the pros of using Rhode.

“Rhode. One of everything good”

Audio Assignment

My audio assignment highlights Rhode as a brand, and what they offer. It was important for me to showcase that Rhode is not only one of the best skincare brands but also one of the best makeup brands currently on the market. Through this, I  wanted to highlight each of the products being sold currently, while also staying true to what Rhode stands for as a beauty company. “One of Everything Good” is a perfect representation of who Rhode is, captivating their audiences with their award-winning products, and customer satisfaction.

Known as Adoobiigok, the “Place of the Black Alders” in the Mississauga language, the region is uniquely situated along Humber River Watershed, which historically provided an integral connection for Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples between the Ontario Lakeshore and the Lake Simcoe/Georgian Bay regions. Now home to people of numerous nations, Adoobiigok continues to provide a vital source of interconnection for all. We acknowledge and honour the land we are walking on, the moccasin tracks of our ancestors and the footprints of the future generations to come.
