Malton Library, located within the Malton Community Centre, offers a variety of programs and services intended to connect others, regardless of background or identity.

The library runs programs such as family story time, teen gaming, and introduction to sewing class.
“Programs are open to everybody regardless of economic status or origin or background… And so the fact that libraries are a place where all kinds of people can meet each other, it builds bridges of communication and understanding and empathy and compassion.” – Merley Wheaton

Malton Library also offers services such as the use of 3D printing, sewing machines, and vinyl printers.

The library also has a seed library which offers patrons free produce seeds, which helps people with food insecurity.

The library also encourages children to read, through programs such as Grade Four Read to Succeed, which introduces children to the library and rewards them for reading with a free book.
